The hotel sits right on the central square and has been nicely renovated in a classic style. The breakfast selection was decent, though some attendants seemed very hurried. The bathroom vents only through the room. The reception staff were downright cold, and I wondered if it was because we booked online or because we're not French.

I celebrated my 30th birthday at Hotel Fonfreda over the holidays, and I hope to return soon. The rooms were amazing and the location immaculate, but the staff were even better. They were some of the kindest, most helpful people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Thank you all for the hospitality!

Everything was at an exceptional level during my stay in the center of Vielha. The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were kind. I gave the hotel the highest rating and really recommend it.

The location was perfect, and booking early got us a really good price. The service felt five-star, even though the hotel itself is three-star. Breakfast was okay. I'd happily come back.

The hotel cancelled our booking just two days before we were due to arrive, because of a mistake on their end. Now we're left scrambling for somewhere to stay, likely at much higher last-minute prices, and we'll have to spend part of our holiday sorting it out. The hotel itself may be nice, but this was very unprofessional service.
