Suitel Cíes Lily Rodsen - Love your Stay

The breakfast at the partner hotel, about 500 meters away, was delicious, and the apartment is in a good spot in Vigo. But for €1,099 for 5 nights, we expected a much smoother stay. We arrived just before the 4 p.m. check-in and were told the apartment still needed cleaning, so we had to wait. There was no key in the box. After ringing the bell, we were first told to stay outside, then eventually let upstairs. The cleaners rushed through the job while we were there, and some things were still unclean. The shower had mold, and the toilet seat in the second bathroom wasn't fitted properly. We had to ask separately for towels and dish towels. There's no built-in air conditioning, just portable units for the bedrooms and living area, and the shower gel and hand soap seemed noticeably watered down. At that price, we'd expected better preparation and a more thorough clean.

The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms spacious and well equipped, and the smart home features worked well. The hotel itself is nice, recently renovated, and in a great location, though weekends are a different story. The nearby park fills up with people drinking in the street, and the bar downstairs plays music late, so there's noise all night. Even with a kitchen, there weren't any napkins or paper towels. There's also nowhere to leave luggage before or after check-in, so you have to find somewhere and pay extra. Apart from that, everything was fine.

The apartment looks great and sits in a good location. The price is somewhat high, though still reasonable for this kind of luxury place. With all that luxury, though, the lack of soundproofing stands out. You hear a lot. It's too noisy.

We stayed in Vigo for 4 days in these apartments. They're very new and comfortable, right in the city center. I'd recommend them.
