The hotel is clean and has solid water pressure. It’s also very well placed, with a whole area of clubs and bars just slightly down the hill, about a two-minute walk away according to Google Maps. The old town is around a 15-minute walk down a long, gentle slope. One of the main bus and train stations is next door, with a mall over it and an elevator down to sea level. There’s road work outside that starts very early, through no fault of the hotel, and the double glazing can’t keep the noise out. I’d suggest a TV with some channels that aren’t entirely in Spanish.

Hotel Panton was wonderfully clean, with lovely-sized rooms, comfortable beds, and beds made every day. The staff were very friendly, and we had a lovely stay. It’s only about four minutes on foot to Vigo-Urzáiz train station and the main train station, and around 20 minutes to Vigo Guixar train station. The main shopping street and old town are also a short walk away. We’d definitely recommend staying here and can’t wait to come back.

We came on a busy weekend and, for the price of a cheap hostel, found this sweet spot. Having an AC room on a very hot weekend was brilliant :)

The location is ideal for a morning stroll, right on the main street leading to the Cathedral and close to attractions, restaurants, and the train station. It’s a cozy, comfortable 2 star hotel with a very good rate and really helpful staff. The clerk at reception was our main contact and made our stay at Panton Hotel very pleasant. Our clean, comfortable room was on the 4th floor. The buffet breakfast was included, with a machine that makes fresh orange juice daily. I’ve traveled for more than 50 years, visited all five continents and over 40 countries, so you can take this as a good review. Reviews are subjective and reflect how each person travels.

The staff were incredibly friendly, and the hotel is bike friendly, with garage storage for bikes. Our room was small but adequate. It’s good value and close to the town center.
