There’s a pool for a refreshing dip, and the garden is lovely, full of trees bearing local fruit like kiwi and apples. This is a beautiful farmhouse. Our room was a little small and had no air conditioning, but the private bathroom and shower were good. You can have breakfast and dinner there, and Maria is a great cook. We ate there seven days in a row, enjoying homemade local food.

Such a good place for switching off in the countryside. There are plenty of cozy spots to sit, read, relax, or just take it all in. The service was impeccable, the wines were good, and the cook is a 10 out of 10. I could happily live there.

Maria is so lovely and makes you feel right at home. The food was wonderful and the service excellent. It’s a beautiful house, ideal for recharging and unwinding, with lovely corners and carefully thought-out decor.

The two breakfasts were fit for a king, and the garden is big and lush. The pool looked fantastic, though I didn’t swim because the weather wasn’t ideal. I stayed two days at Casa San Ginés (Ferreirós - Vila de Cruces) in a spacious, wonderful room with beautiful period furniture, a comfortable bed, and a spotless bathroom. The service was impeccable. This peaceful spot is just a few kilometers from some recommended places to visit. I especially recommend Carboeiro Monastery, it’s spectacular! Casa San Ginés is well worth a stay.

María was a perfect host, and her cooking alone makes this experience worth coming for. Every dish was carefully prepared and full of flavor, some of the best food we’ve ever had. The house is magnificent, with a pool and a huge, beautifully maintained garden. We had a fantastic weekend for the 'Gastronomic Autumn'. It’s a great place to disconnect, with interesting areas just a few kilometers away. We’ll definitely return. Thanks for everything.
