Apartamentos Estival Park 3000

We came back to Almaris after a great stay about two years ago, but this visit was a real letdown. Standards seemed to have dropped, and we won’t be returning. Brit from guest services was friendly and did seem to try to sort things out. The two women in blue jumpers from the children’s entertainment team were welcoming and made a real effort, and Elena from the Estival kids club was amazing. There were safety problems involving children: plates were extremely hot with no warning and caused burns, and loose screws around the pool caused an injury. Staff handled these incidents poorly. We also saw a lifeguard who appeared to be asleep while watching the pool. The room was barely cleaned; we had to ask, and even after that it wasn’t cleaned to an acceptable standard. Restaurant service was inconsistent and sometimes uncomfortable. My partner was wrongly challenged about an all-inclusive drink despite wearing the correct wristband. We’d loved the hotel on our previous visit, which made the decline especially disappointing.

On June 21st, we’ll be arriving at Estival Park for about the 15th time. We’ve never had any complaints and are looking forward to seeing you all soon! Greetings, Luc and Anja

We had a pretty good seven-night stay at estival park in la Pineda, though the room view was a letdown for the money. We overlooked the kitchen staff and the back of another hotel. When we asked to switch rooms, the staff got defensive and shooed us away. The bedrooms were cleaned regularly, and the men working behind the bar were warm and welcoming. They worked all hours to look after guests and cleaned around the pool. Lunch and dinner snacks were lovely, while breakfast was good. The main meals had plenty of options but were nearly always cold, even though we didn’t arrive late. The pool was too cold to swim in, with children splashing and screaming throughout despite there being a separate kids’ pool. We were also disappointed that the rooftop pool was “closed” for the season. It was 28 degrees, and the closure hadn’t been mentioned when we booked, even though we’d been really looking forward to it. It was an okay trip overall, but it could have been better.

My wife and I had our honeymoon here, and we’ve come back at least four times since. We absolutely love the place. The staff are fantastic and make even the kids feel welcome, and the rooms are cleaned to a very high standard every morning. I’d definitely recommend staying here.
