L'Arc de Pedra

Inés was fantastic, and the accommodation was spectacular and charming. It has everything you need to enjoy nature. 100% recommended.

The house has heating, hot water and clean sheets, and everything else we needed. It's cozy despite being an older place. We found parking near the Ermita de la Sangre (Chapel of the Blood), though the drive up was a bit tricky. It's a spectacular house at the highest point of Vilafamés (Castellón). The very friendly owner handed us the keys and showed us around. There are three floors: the kitchen and living room downstairs, a bedroom with a double bed and bathroom on the first floor, and a bedroom with two single beds plus a small bathroom on the second.

Ines is delightful and gave us information about hiking trails. The house is old, rustic and very well maintained, with every detail considered. It's a cozy place, and its peaceful location makes it a great escape. The one downside is the steep slope throughout the area, though we already knew about the location.

If we'd known, we wouldn't have gone. That fine turned the weekend into a €600 trip, the most expensive weekend ever. The road up is all hills, and renters can't park there, only locals. Nuria didn't know the parking rules, and a neighbor was a real pain. He saw our car, called the police, and we were fined €300!
