Hotel Dinajan

It’s right by the Camino, though it looks closed when you arrive. The rooms are dated and very basic, and the staff seemed disinterested. It could be a great hotel, but it isn’t. Don’t pay for breakfast, you’ll be very disappointed.

We got a good price for a place about 2 km before town. The walk into town is lovely, along the water and over a pedestrian bridge. Staff were pleasant and the room was comfortable, though the walls were thin enough that I could hear the people next door. In October, most cafés and restaurants were closed, but there’s a grocery store very close by.

I’m here for the second time, and I’m sure it won’t be my last. For just 20 euros, the room is clean and spacious, with a private bathroom. Pets stay free, and there’s free private parking with plenty of space and an easy entrance. Great hotel!

At 20€ a night, this costs less than many bunk-bed albergues on the Camino, and you get a spacious private room and your own bathroom. Mine was clean, and the lounge has beautiful sea views. It’s an old-school hotel, even with a bidet in the bathroom. It is close to the road and the walls are a bit thin, but for the price it’s great value.
