You can walk straight from this hostel to the nearby via ferrata and climbing routes, and the valley around it is spectacular. The owner was very friendly and happy to share information about enjoying the area. Breakfast is optional, though lunch and dinner aren't served here; there's a bar in the village. Rooms have electrical outlets. A better mattress might be welcome.

Rubén took great care of us, and there are so many things to do nearby. It's a quiet, welcoming place for active breaks in León, with via ferratas close by, activities you can book, and hiking options. I'd happily come back.

The breakfast at the hostel had a nice range of choices, and dinner at the Río Viejo rural hotel was tasty with really friendly service. We came as a family for the weekend and found the hostel clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Rubén was lovely and attentive throughout. A great spot for a few days in the valley.

The showers and bathrooms were clean, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious. Our room had three bunk beds, but because the hostel was quiet at that time, each group was placed in its own room. The service was excellent. Everything felt just right, and we'd come back.

Rubén is such a delight, and the hostel has a lovely interior courtyard where you can barbecue. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, and the dining room was spacious. It's a beautiful place, and we'll definitely return.
