Fernando was always around and really attentive and friendly. We stayed at the end of October. It wasn't very cold, but he put the heating on so we'd be comfortable, and we could adjust it ourselves. The house was very clean, clean enough to walk around barefoot. My only drawback was the bed, which I didn't find very comfortable. The kitchen had everything, including a toaster, sandwich maker, ironing board, washing machine, cleaning products, and more. There was also a hairdryer in the bathroom and a TV in the room. The restaurant for breakfast is about 100 meters away. The village is handy for getting around too, with the Monasterio de Piedra a 45-km drive away on a good road.

Fernando and his daughter, Laura, gave us excellent personal attention. Casa Rural Laura is a quiet, authentic place, close to surrounding villages and with access to hiking and cycling routes in the Sierra de Atea mountains and along the Jiloca River. The house is spread across four floors, with six bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, heating, and a TV. There's a lounge with a fireplace, a dining room, and a shared kitchen. Meals, including breakfast, are served at Bar Agustín in the village. The house is a bit dated, but it was very comfortable for a short stay.
