There’s potential here, and being able to choose your own pitch was a plus. The staff were polite and helpful too. Still, the site felt neglected, with overgrown pitches, and the bar was shut because May counted as out of season even though the campsite was busy. Bathrooms looked dated, and the water could be hot or cold depending on when you went. The location is handy for exploring nearby places, especially Cordoba. The village shop is a ten minute walk, and you can catch the bus there; reception has a timetable. A little care and investment could make a real difference.

We liked the laid back, quiet feel and would come back. You can choose your own good sized pitch, then pay when you leave. The pool was lovely, with grass around it for laying down a towel or bringing your own sunbed, though there weren’t any sunbeds provided. Showers were hot and powerful, and the clean toilet and shower block was a little dated. The walk into the village for the bus to Córdoba was easy, but buses were infrequent. Our return options were 15.45 or 20.00, though we still managed to see everything we wanted.

We stayed here as a stopover and found it peaceful and really nice. The countryside setting is on the edge of town, with walking and cycling routes starting at the site, and Cordoba is very easy to reach.

The staff were super friendly and relaxed, which was the best part. It’s a lovely shaded campsite, with spotless toilets and showers, plus a nice pool. You can get to Cordoba by air-conditioned coach from town.
