The campsite and pool are nice, but the location made this a horrible stop. Fast traffic, including trucks and cars, runs along the main road around the clock, and there’s also a nearby rail line with trains passing every hour, even overnight. Mosquitoes were everywhere too. I’d been bitten about ten times just minutes after leaving the pool, and eating was no better. It’s a one-stop campsite for me. You live and learn.
We’d definitely come back to Camping Bardenas. It’s a lovely, small, well-kept site, and the reception guy gave us a really friendly, helpful welcome. Our pitch was a good size, with its own little sitting area and lovely lights in the trees around it. The sanitary facilities were clean and tidy, and the pool area was excellent. We brought our own chairs and spent a day there. The road is nearby, but the noise didn’t bother us.
There’s a decent restaurant and bar on site, and the sanitary facilities are good. The price is reasonable, and the Wi-Fi is strong and free at the plots. Some pitches are bigger than others, so ask at the office to swap if yours doesn’t suit. The road noise, though, is just too much for us. We won’t stay again. We usually use Zaragoza city campsite and will go back there on our next UK to Spain run.
The site has a lovely feel, both around the grounds and at the pitches. In summer the location gives you great weather, around 25°-35°. There’s a pool and bar, and the nearby mountains have plenty of walks, desert landscapes, and rock formations. We had a very nice stay and will definitely be back. Darren & Suki 🇬🇧
The grounds were very well maintained, and the people working there were lovely. The location is great too, only 30min from Bardenas Reales park.
