Airhostel Barcelona Airport 24h

I felt safe here as a woman traveling alone, even though this was my first time staying in a hostel. I accidentally left my iPad on the bed and found it untouched when I came back. Rooms and washrooms were cleaned every day, and even shared dorms gave enough privacy. There was plenty of storage under the bed and in the lockers. The kitchen was clean, equipped, and well maintained, and there are a few nearby restaurants for late food. Check-in and checkout were easy, and the metro is a five-minute walk away, with the airport close too. A few things bothered me: the metal storage makes a lot of noise, and the hostel is a bit far from the city center. The airport shuttle only runs for limited hours in the morning. Also, from the lower bunk you hear some noise whenever the person above gets in or out of bed.

The breakfast buffet was excellent and affordable, and the staff were friendly and willing to help. The hostel is very clean, with new facilities, and close to the airport, restaurants, and tourist spots. The rooms felt small, though, and the beds were thin and uncomfortable. Guests aren't allowed to cook.

The spacious shared kitchen and common area, along with the large terraces, were a nice surprise. My private room felt a bit like an Airbnb, with a separate entrance to a floor that had only two rooms. It seems like a good place to stay if you’re flying to or from Barcelona airport. There was outside noise on and off through the night, so I couldn’t sleep well. Bring earplugs. Also, there was no bin in the bathroom, which felt odd. I either flushed things like brushed-out hair or carried them to the bin in the common area.

I liked the relaxed, social feel, and the location is handy for early flights, just a few minutes from the airport. The Airhostel was clean, comfortable, and well organized. Staff were friendly and ready to help with whatever came up. A cozy, affordable option near the airport, and I’d recommend it.
