Cabañas de San Bartolomé

Getting there over the mountain passes takes some effort, but that quiet setting is exactly what makes it easy to disconnect and spend proper time together. This was my second visit with my family, and I knew we’d made the right choice. The scenery is stunning, with great routes for hiking and biking and lovely villages to explore. The cabins have a special charm, and the owner is friendly and attentive. We’ll be back.

Max had a great time, heading out each morning to greet Collie and Lua. Javier and Ana were attentive and available throughout our Easter stay, and we really appreciated their care. The cabins were spotless and had everything we needed. It’s an idyllic spot for a few quiet days surrounded by nature. We hope to return.

Javier and Ana made us feel at home from the moment we arrived, even warming the cabin and leaving a few treats for our dog. They’re such kind hosts. The cabins are cozy and well equipped, and set out so you feel you have the place to yourself. There are beautiful trails nearby, both from the cabins and around the village, just fifteen minutes away. We loved our stay, though we ran out of time for everything we wanted to do. Can’t wait to come back.

The grounds are spacious enough that you don’t even see the neighbors, and everything is cared for with real affection. Our cabin was clean, well equipped, and comfortable for a few days. The owners were so friendly, and even brought us delicious tomatoes from their garden. We came away thinking of it as a little paradise, and would love to return. It’s a wonderful choice if you want peace and quiet.
