Hotel Spa Attica21 Vilalba

The Turbot was tasty and not overpriced, and the escalopes were amazing. It’s a very nice hotel in the middle of the woods, with excellent seafood. I’d recommend it completely and can’t wait to return and try more of the menu.

I was disappointed, especially for this price range. The reception staff don’t speak English, and the rooms aren’t soundproof. I could hear every movement from the upstairs neighbor, along with everything happening in the corridor. A hotel should let you get a proper night’s sleep, and this one didn’t.

Breakfast was superb, including a machine for squeezing fresh orange juice. Dinner was good, nicely cooked, and served very well. The reception staff were excellent too: check-in was quick and they explained everything clearly. Our room was very clean and a good size, with two large single beds pushed together. The bathroom had a separate bath and shower, with the toilet in its own section. We didn’t use the spa, though it looked good.

The place is in a beautiful location, and the facilities are good. We went for the spa and massage package, but it seemed to be a family spa, with kids screaming around. Maintenance also seemed lacking, since some rooms were unavailable. The massage was horrible for both me and my girlfriend. I’d skip it altogether.
