La Antigua Estacion

A family member was admitted to hospital in this town because of a medical emergency, and in desperation we went looking for a hotel. That’s how we ended up here. We spoke with Tomás, explained what had happened, and asked him to wait because my family member would need ten minutes to get the room key. He agreed, but by the time they arrived, my family member had left and switched off their phone. I hope nobody trusts this man or has to face that lack of empathy again. Now you know what sort of people run this place. Please don’t trust them or go back.

The room was clean and spacious, with easy parking, and the people seemed friendly. But the shower was big and the water was cold, and the towels were a joke. Don’t show up for breakfast before 8:00, even if they say someone will be there, because no one is around. The area outside is poorly lit at night, so bring a flashlight. There’s a coffee maker but no coffee. I’d never seen one used as decor before. The TV in my room was imaginary, I suppose everyone can picture their own version.

We just spent a fantastic weekend here with about ten couples and their children. We’ve been back for two years, and it’s turned into a tradition. The place is clean and has everything in good order, and the owner is attentive and ready to help. Thank you!

The outdoor space is large and pleasant, with small walking trails nearby and the town very close. Inside, there’s a spacious living room with a fireplace that draws well, plus a beer keg with a tap. The rooms are well equipped and separate from the common area. The kitchen is fine, with enough cookware, storage, and cooling space, though the dishwasher and oven could use some work.
