We loved being able to have dinner and wine at the village bar just 50 meters from the house. The three of us spent a weekend in Trevejo, a beautiful village of 17 people, with a castle and fantastic nature all around. The house is simple and clean, with the amenities we needed and lovely views.

The house itself would be perfect for hosting guests, and the surrounding area deserves it, but it needs renovation and general repairs. The shower head is in poor condition and the water pressure is too low. There also isn't enough kitchenware.

The views from the cozy house were incredible, and Daniel's knowledge of the area's history and surroundings added a lot to the visit. He runs the rural house and the village bar "El Buen Avío," and treated us like royalty. We were so grateful for his cooking with local produce. Wonderful place and service in the heart of the Sierra de Gata.

Trevejo is worth visiting, and the apartment's location is its best feature. Such a shame the place needs so much work. There's hardly any water, the beds are uncomfortable, and only one of the three air conditioners works. It has no maintenance to speak of, though the apartment itself has potential. I hope this helps them improve.

A lovely atmosphere and peaceful surroundings. So quiet and relaxing, definitely recommend it.
