The owners are fantastic, with loads of tips on things to do and places to eat nearby. The breakfasts were amazing, and there’s a lovely fireplace. Rosa de los tiempos is a peaceful little rural hotel just 2 mins from astorga. With only 4 rooms, it still feels like a 5 star hotel. The rooms are comfortable and can be made completely dark, with a great mattress and showers. They’ve paid attention to the details.

We’ve been here twice now, and it’s our first choice whenever we’re in the area. Every corner of the house has its own detail, and the rooms make you feel transported to another time and place. The owners are lovely and happy to help with anything. Breakfast is generous, with produce from their garden and homemade jams. We’re celiac, and they offer just as complete a breakfast with gluten-free options. A perfect ten!

The rooms were very spacious, and the mattress was great. The owners were kind and friendly, and we enjoyed the lovely common areas and patio. Excellent service and a delicious breakfast. Everything was great.
