We stayed in February with a big group of friends and lots of kids, and had a great time. The houses and grounds are lovely. There was sunshine and the weather stayed pleasant, so we could use the barbecue area and the patio swings. The electric radiators were the downside: the bedrooms felt cold on the first night, though they were a little warmer by the second day. The wood-burning stoves kept the shared areas cosy, but left a bit of a smoky smell. The pool looked great, so we'd love to return in summer and try it.
