Jordi and Manuela made us feel like part of the family. The service was lovely, and they made everything easy, sharing ideas for excursions and visits that suited our interests. The house and its setting are perfect for unwinding, with beautiful countryside, Romanesque architecture, and villages made of stone, mud and wood to explore. Highly recommended. The gluten-free choices were a real plus: the cakes, almond pancakes, and bread were all delicious. We stayed for a week, and the house was spotless and lovely. It made a perfect base for exploring the Merindades. The only hard part was getting home and missing Jordi and Manuela's wonderful homemade breakfasts, especially with that music in the background that made them even nicer. A definite 10 out of 10.

Las Merindades is a great area for hiking or cycling, with plenty to see, though it still feels little known. The house is well placed for exploring it. Manuela and Jordi have restored and decorated the place with exquisite taste, and there are thoughtful details throughout. They're also warm and accommodating when it comes to food allergies and intolerances, which I really appreciated.

The owners made us feel so welcome, and Jordi, if you see this, I managed to get the honey. Thanks so much for everything. The house is lovely, well equipped, and very, very clean. It's in a peaceful, quiet spot. Breakfast was good, with fresh juice, properly made coffee, and a different homemade jam each day. Everything was great.

Manuela's homemade breakfasts were a real treat, and she and Jordi were both so friendly. Even their pets, Truco and Kira, made the place feel more comfortable. It's a quiet, pleasant place that's clean and well looked after. We'd happily come back. Thanks for everything.
