Getting up to Peña Redonda for the views over the Arribes was a spectacular way to wrap things up and say see you soon to the Posada, Manuela and Andrés. Andrés also shared stories, good conversation and tips for exploring the Arribes, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We spent two nights there, and Manuela and Andrés won us over with how kind and helpful they were from the moment we arrived until we left. The breakfasts were spectacular, and Manuela's dinners felt made with love. Her brioche, chocolate cake, homemade jams, little chicken and bacalao a la tranca, which reminded me of my grandmother, made those days unforgettable.

The building has a special character and was hard to leave, and it was a real bonus for us that the place welcomes pets. The owners look after it with care. The food was excellent, with some ingredients grown there or sourced locally. Manuela cooks with love and a lot of patience. A lovely place in the Arribes del Duero region.
