The shared spaces on each floor were really comfortable, and the room stayed cozy even when it was -4 outside 🥶 The shower was clean and hot, and everything in the room was spotless. We only picked this place because it was the sole one open in the village off season, but it turned out to be a hidden gem. The people at reception were kind and helped with all sorts of requests. They offer dinner and breakfast too, though we didn’t have either.

We had parking right outside, and breakfast was basic but fine. The receptionist was friendly, but the hotel itself is old and the rooms are very plain. What made the stay hard was the noise: groups were talking loudly in the hallways until midnight, then at 6 a.m. people were loud again, talking and singing in both rooms and corridors. They showed no consideration for other guests, so I can’t recommend this place.

On day 15 of the Camino de Santiago, during our April 18-19, 2025 stay, we had a four-bed room that was great value. The bathroom had everything we needed, and the towels were amazing. The owner welcomed us so warmly, and the man at reception was especially helpful and proactive. I’m sorry I can’t remember his name. Note 10!

We were the only guests for the night during our motorbike tour through Spain, and the host cooked us a marvellous three-course vegetarian dinner. She was very attentive, and I’d definitely recommend eating there. The property has been beautifully restored and has an interesting history. It’s quite remote, which suited us just fine.

The small pool helped take the edge off the heat, though it got very, very hot and there’s no air-conditioning. The room was very clean, the food delicious, and the staff friendly. It’s a lovely, quiet rural spot and definitely child and family friendly. They aren’t used to foreign guests, but tried to speak English with us. We eventually got each other using Google Translate.
