The studio is tucked away in the countryside, so it was wonderfully peaceful. My partner and I stayed there with our dog and had a very pleasant time. Pedro and Victor were friendly and attentive, and ready to help or share information whenever we needed it.

The area is quiet and the location is good, and it's nice that pets are accepted without an extra charge. But the apartment was only so-so and didn't feel worth the price. There were cobwebs and spiders across the ceiling, mold marks on the kitchen wall, and rust inside the microwave. Moths filled the wardrobe; the curtains were dirty, with lipstick on one, and dead mosquitoes were on the windows. The sea view was just a small corner of the estuary. It needs a thorough clean and proper maintenance.

From the time we booked, our whole family, Rocky included, felt welcome. Pedro and his family were helpful while still giving us space. The apartment has lots of thoughtful little touches that made it comfortable and homey. Just the place to relax and recharge. We'd come back if we're in the area.

Pedro was so welcoming that we felt at home throughout our four days there. My girlfriend and I loved it, and it's easily the best rural house I've stayed in. We'll be back to Apartamentos Villar next time we're in Asturias.

We already knew this was a lovely spot for unwinding and enjoying ourselves, since this was our third short stay. The family atmosphere is a big part of that. My wife, my dog Beltxo, and I were all treated with real warmth and care.
