Casa La Pumarada

We were there as a family of four during the last week of August. The house matches the photos exactly and has everything you need to be comfortable. It’s quiet and peaceful, surrounded by nature, but well connected for trips to Gijón, Avilés, Ribadesella and nearby Villaviciosa. Spectacular beaches like Rodiles are close too. Sandra was incredibly helpful and accommodating, making sure everything was right and that we enjoyed our holiday. I’d go back this afternoon.

We barely noticed the bad weather because there was so much room inside for games and activities with the children. Outside, the surroundings are spectacular, and the house itself is spotless and clearly very well looked after. There are lots of thoughtful touches that make it feel welcoming, and the owner was lovely and kept checking that everything was just right. 100% recommended.

This was our second stay, and I hope we can come back more often. It’s only 5 km from Villaviciosa, in a really peaceful spot with beautiful scenery. Sandra had cold cider and chorizo ready when we arrived, just what we needed after the journey. Both houses are furnished in a tasteful rustic style and are immaculate. The service is warm and attentive. If I built a country house, I’d decorate it like this.

The setting makes it easy to relax, and the house worked perfectly for our family with two children. It had everything we wanted in a rural home, including Wi-Fi, a patio, and a porch with a barbecue. The service was excellent too. We’d definitely stay here again.
