The breakfast was one of my favorite parts: a generous spread for each person, with homemade sweets, cold cuts and cheeses, toast with homemade jams, fruit, yogurt, fresh orange juice, coffee or tea. They even had spelt toast, coconut oil, and several kinds of plant-based milk. Cristina remembered our preferences and was wonderfully attentive. She gave us great ideas for activities and even offered to wash my daughter's dress after it got covered in chocolate ice cream. The view from the property, over mountains and little houses in the distance, is stunning, and the house is beautifully looked after. The outdoor areas were so inviting and great for relaxing. We'd stayed in rural homes before, but La Nozal de la Peña was something special. We spent 7 nights there, taking day trips to towns 10 to 60 minutes away, including Cudillero, Llanes, and Covadonga, and many afternoons at Playa de Rodiles, just a 15-minute drive away. I highly recommend it if you're looking to unwind and disconnect. We'd absolutely return, though next time we might leave our toddler behind so we can enjoy the peaceful property and nearby hikes more fully.

We went there for breakfast and it was fantastic, complete, delicious, and healthy, with sweet and savory choices. Cristina's warmth and service were unbeatable. Near Villaviciosa, it has picture-perfect views and surroundings. If you're after a peaceful, charming place, this is it.

I picked the place based on reviews without knowing it beforehand, and honestly there aren't many reviews about Cristina and her country house. I stayed four days, from November 26th to 30th, in the Green Room on the ground floor. It was fantastic, with spectacular mountain views. Cristina's homemade breakfasts were amazing, especially the berries with yogurt, along with the Serrano ham, cheese, toast, and coffee. Her personal, attentive way of hosting made me feel at home, and the conversations and stories we shared were wonderful. She's a delightful woman. I could have chosen somewhere else, but I made the right choice. I recommend it 100%, and out of 10 I'd give it 12. FABULOUS.

Cristina was so welcoming and helpful, and made us feel right at home. We spent four nights at La Nozal de la Peña and had a wonderful time. It's a perfect spot for a few days of relaxation, with unbeatable views. Breakfast was spectacular, every detail just right, and dinner was too. We'll definitely be back! 🫶🏼

We only stayed one night because the location suited our trip around Asturias, and we wished we had more time to enjoy the peace, the breakfasts, and Cristina's kindness. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the beds are comfortable too, and the setting is gorgeous, all greenery and flowers. A real place to rest. Breakfast is homemade and absolutely delicious, with sweet and savory choices and local products. There's parking on site. Highly recommended.
