There isn't much open around the hotel at weekends, so you'll need a car to get anywhere. When we were there, the hotels and restaurants weren't open. The owners were really sweet: I left my charger behind, and one of them drove after me to bring it back. The bathroom was clean and the shower was great. Our room was spacious, with some paintings that were beautiful, weird, and a little disturbing. Most of the decor worked well. Outside, the sculptures and art looked great, and the grounds and hotel seemed fairly well maintained.

A lovely stay, especially if you want to switch off for a bit. The owners are so nice and attentive. Breakfast was just perfect, and the cakes were delicious. It was a pleasure to stay here.

We spent a night away from the city in the suite “horreo” at this beautiful family-run rural house. It was perfect for relaxing and disconnecting. Highly recommended!

Aida and David really are people worth getting to know. They put so much care into making your stay the best it can be, and I doubt we’ll be looked after better anywhere. We came as a couple for the Vespertina event about two weeks ago, and had an incredible time. The vegetarian food was delicious, and they gave us great places to eat when it was time to leave. Thanks again for everything. It was lovely to share little moments with their charming family. This is definitely a place to stay, and the rooms are beautiful, original, and cozy 💘
