We were holidaying nearby and booked the hórreo for a night. It was such a special experience, and I only wish we’d stayed longer. The setting feels dreamy, out in the countryside, with quiet all around and a beautiful sunset. A magical spot for a couple. When we arrived, the owner was very helpful and explained the area, including places to go and things to see. He stayed attentive during our visit. I’d love to come back.

We only stayed one night while passing through, but the place exceeded what we expected. The room had lovely views, and the grounds were beautifully maintained. Everything was very clean and looked after down to the details. They also sorted out a last-minute change to our check-in time quickly. Highly recommend it.

The chalet is spotless, well organized, and has new, well-kept facilities. There’s also a converted room in a traditional Galician granary, or hórreo, and it’s accessible. We stayed just one night, but if I’d known about this place, I would have booked longer. It’s a peaceful spot in beautiful nature, close to both forest and beach and near Gijón and Villaviciosa, but it doesn’t feel isolated. There are trails to nearby cliffs, and Playa España is an easy walk. You can have dinner and listen to music there at night too; it’s lively, with Ipanema Beach Club. Because of Covid restrictions there was no dining service, but for an extra €6 they offered excellent breakfasts. It was a short trip, packed with experiences. Highly recommended.

It’s peaceful and welcoming, in a stunning area, and the breakfast is spectacular. One of the best rural hotels I’ve stayed in. There’s private parking, and you can also opt for a sauna and hot tub. The staff were very attentive. I’d definitely return.
