Hotel Eden Park by Brava Hoteles

For 68 Euros, the room felt like good value, especially since I'd paid the same for hostels. It was quiet, the beds were comfortable, the shower had good pressure, and the towels were cozy. The dark shade helped too. There was only tea in the room, no coffee, and the kettle didn't work, so I went downstairs and bought a coffee for 2.00 Euros. The Internet connection also kept dropping. Still, I had a good time and got a great rest.

We skipped dinner because the 30€ menu didn't look appealing, and breakfast for three came to around 50€ even though it should really be 10€. The coffee was extremely watered down. It felt like they cut corners on everything. The bathtub was dirty, so we had to clean it before showering. One bed was probably damaged and made odd noises all night. A shower gel bottle seemed to have been diluted with water. From its smell and texture, it was like watered-down laundry detergent, and it was very hard to rinse off.

The location is handy, close to the highway, and the bed was comfortable. It was quiet and the service was good, though finding the road entrance to the hotel wasn't easy.

The hotel works well if you need a quick airport transfer. The rooms are spacious and clean, with very comfortable beds, and there's a small shop for drinks and snacks. The interior feels modern and fresh, while the garden and pool deck have lovely plants. The pool is clean and a decent size. You do hear the motorway and airport, which is hard to avoid. I had mixed feelings about dinner. The service was friendly, helpful and attentive, and the wine was good and fairly priced. The food was edible, but the restaurant aims for refined dishes and the results are hit and miss. Some things felt overprocessed, like nuggets in the Ceasar salad, and other dishes didn't quite come together. It was a pretty lacklustre meal, though not too bad.
