There was food in the bed and hair on the pillow. Awful experience, with terrible management. I won't be coming back.

Everything was clean and tidy, and the apartment had all the essentials, even a BBQ. The pool was brilliant, with plenty of sunbeds for residents.

A bit off the beaten track, quite literally, but absolutely worth the trip. Lovely pool, great views, and a really good place to stay for either a short break or a longer visit.

We loved the quiet atmosphere Isabel has created. The pool is very clean and well cared for, and with no ball games or radios allowed, it's a lovely place to properly unwind. The bungalows are comfortable, with good beds, air conditioning in the bedrooms, mosquito screens on the windows, and a big balcony with a table, chairs and sunbeds. We thought it could be a great honeymoon spot, though probably not the best choice for young children. There aren't shops and busy streets just a few minutes away, but there are nice restaurants nearby. El Charco in Los Romanes is known for its good food, and El Pantano, overlooking lake Vinuela, is about 17-18 minutes by car. The drive from the main road to the Alojamientos takes around 12 minutes. The one thing that didn't work for us was the TV: we could only get Spanish and German channels, and although Isabel tried to help, we were told satellite reception in the area is unreliable. For shopping, El Ingenio shopping centre in Torre de Mar is about 40 minutes away. The seaside there is lovely too, and BereBere is a Moroccan-themed beach bar with good food, drinks and cocktails, where you can linger late and listen to the waves. We'll definitely be back, hopefully next year.
