Villa Gloria

Some great walks start right at the front gate, and the views all around are spectacular. We just came back from another wonderful week in this comfortable, traditional-style villa, which has everything needed for a relaxing holiday in a quiet, beautiful setting. It's very well equipped, and we especially appreciated the dishwasher. Annie and Trevor are warm, friendly and very helpful hosts. We'll definitely be back.

The quiet setting was a real plus, with the villa set back from the road, and the mountain and lake views from its high position were amazing. There are several terraces to enjoy them from. The pool was lovely and big enough for all six of us, the rooms were nice and clean, and the large kitchen had everything we needed. We also enjoyed many evenings cooking on the new grill. For groceries, there's a small shop about 2 km away on the other side, with the essentials. For a bigger shop, Torre del Mar is about 18 km away and has a large, well-equipped shopping centre. It's best to have a car, and if you rent one, make sure it can handle mountain roads. We had the best holiday in a long time, and Villa Gloria fully lived up to our expectations. Annie lives next door and is lovely, doing everything she can to make your stay pleasant. Ask her about places to visit or eat, as she knows the area. It's a good idea to book a table at restaurants, or you may end up out of luck. We highly recommend the place and will definitely return to Villa Gloria.

We really enjoyed our week at the beautiful Villa Gloria with family and friends. It felt like a home from home, with comfortable beds and sofas, and the outdoor space was fantastic. The pool, hot tub and BBQ were great, and the amenities had clearly been thought through with attention to detail. The views are stunning. The owners were friendly, welcoming and helpful with local tips and places to visit. Our children had a great time, and we liked being near a farm, hearing the animals and seeing the beautiful horse as we drove up. It's a great base for home comforts and exploring southern Spain, though you'll need a hire car. The nearby villages and towns were pretty.

We spent a super three weeks at Villa Gloria. It's in a private, beautiful setting and has everything you need. The welcome pack was a lovely surprise. The owners live in the adjoining property, but always respected our privacy and were available if we needed anything. The pool and hot tub made the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for a peaceful vacation.
