They even opened the supermarket so I could get food, then brought me another blanket to warm up. I’d arrived late on a freezing, rainy Sunday after cycling down the hill, and they were so kind to me. Those little extra efforts meant a lot. Thanks again!

We loved the campsite, even though it’s pretty much in the middle of nowhere. The facilities were clean and the showers were great. There are lots of permanent campers, and I imagine it gets lively in peak season. Bring enough food since there isn’t a village you can walk to. Dogs are welcome too.

The restaurant was the one letdown for us. The portions were small for the price, and there’s no Menu del Dia, though the food itself was quite nice. The bar is pleasant, the staff are really friendly, and the facilities are spotless. You camp among the trees without marked pitches, which makes for a beautiful, peaceful setting. We’ll come back, hopefully when the pool renovation is finished and the restaurant has improved by next year.

We stayed in a cabin for a week and had everything we needed: a toilet, shower, and well-equipped kitchen with a microwave and two gas burners, though no oven. The bar and pool were great, and the evening activities kept the kids busy, from games and karaoke to night swimming, films, and gymkhanas. The town is walkable, and la Laguna negra is very close and worth seeing. A great camping trip.

There was plenty of room to choose a spot, though not many had electricity. The toilets are a bit dated but clean. We felt very safe there during Covid. Thank you.
