Resort las Sirenas

The hotel is right beside a waterside walking path, and I’d happily stay here again if I’m back in Viveiro. I was pleasantly surprised by how large the room was, and it had an ocean view even though I hadn’t asked for one. The rooftop was a nice spot to take in the scenery. I only stopped for coffee, but it was good and fairly priced for a hotel bar.

The staff were professional and helpful, and we enjoyed a couple of days and nights here. Room 4004 had a lovely view from its balcony, plus lots of space, nice decor, and good amenities. I’d suggest asking for a room on the 4th floor with a view. We paid for breakfast, but I usually skip it, and it didn’t feel worth it to me since the coffee wasn’t good.

We stayed four nights, and the room wasn’t cleaned properly during that time. Noise was another problem: we could clearly hear people in the rooms on both sides through walls that seemed to be just plasterboard, with no soundproofing. I can’t see how this qualifies as a four star hotel.

The kids had a great time with the mini golf and pool, and there was a really good range of food at the buffet. Our room was modern and spacious, with a lovely sea view. A brilliant place to stay in Viveiro.
