Ask them about the local liquor, and they can also point you toward sights around the region. We had a great time at this comfortable little tavern. The owners are so welcoming, and the seafood was delicious, even without lemon ;) Definitely coming back, 10/10.

The service really stood out for its warmth and kindness, and the breakfast was okay. This is a lovely rural place in Xinzo de Limia, with recently renovated rooms and modern furniture. The bathroom was well equipped, including a hair dryer and the other essentials.

Those five border collies were a blast, and I won't forget the stay. I was fed well and made to feel comfortable and relaxed. It's not right on the Camino, but taking a taxi from Vilar de Barrio is well worth it. The proprietors are quirky, fun, and incredibly friendly. I've never had such a personal, authentic welcome at a hotel anywhere.

The terrace and garden are directly accessible from every room, which makes this a great place if you're traveling with dogs. We had all the rooms for a family weekend, and each was clean, fully equipped, and just as pictured on the website. The owners were lovely and made sure we had what we needed. The attention to detail was excellent, and breakfast is absolutely worth having. A great choice!

We were there at the start of August 2025, and it was well worth getting to know the owners and hearing about their stay. They're wonderful, and the place is beautiful. Our dogs had an amazing time too. Highly recommend it. Manuel and Fatima, Trufa and Alba.
