The villa needs serious refurbishment, and the stay brought a lot of stress and discomfort. We had construction noise, interruptions to the water supply, and pool chemicals that seemed to cause skin eczema. The management company offered several small discounts, but even together they didn’t come close to making up for the disruption. I expect they’ll reply by listing all their generosity, including pool heating and waiving a child surcharge that was already part of the booking. Think twice about booking while the construction next door is still going on. Once it’s finished, some of the property’s best sea views will be gone for good.
