I miss this hotel. My husband, Leslie Battle, and I used to stay there several times a year while he was alive. The staff were lovely, everyone was friendly, and we always enjoyed our holidays there with our little dog Pequeña.

The room is spacious, but the cleanliness could be better. The bedsheets were old and a bit smudgy. With some fresh paint and updated bedcovers, the hotel would be quite all right for its category.

No luxury, but good enough for a break on a journey through beautiful Extremadura. If you're looking for a cheap place to rest for a couple of days, this could do.

The portions were huge and the food was super good. I couldn't finish it all.

Everything is so good here! Try the Solomio with Serena cheese.
