An old Jewish house close to the heart of the center, and a truly wonderful place. My room has its own pool to keep the space temperate. It’s calm, cool, and civilized, and feels generous and beautiful. I’ve only seen Spanish people here. Go or come, unless these things aren’t your scene.

The staff are very kind, and the place is beautiful and historic, though the rooms and furniture are very dated.

The central courtyard is very nice, and the staff are kind and helpful. Rooms and bathrooms are quite dated, but you get what you pay for. They accept animals, so be ready for barking or dog mess if guests don’t take their pets out early enough.

There’s a lot to enjoy at this charming historic hotel: an extensive art collection, a lovely inner courtyard, an upper terrace, a gym, bike storage, and a bar and guest sitting area. Breakfast costs extra. It’s within walking distance of the river and Plaza Mayor, and the staff are friendly and hospitable. One of the concierges gave my family and me a brief tour and showed us the original Jewish cleansing bath on the property.

This beautiful 15th century building has a fascinating history. It belonged to a Jewish family before an inquisitor from Toledo took it over, and the original Mikveh for Jewish ritual baths is still on the ground level. The location by the river is great, the staff are very friendly, and the prices are reasonable. If you’re traveling in winter, the heating is good.
