Our room request got mixed up: we’d asked for twin beds but were given a double. The location also wasn’t the best. Still, the staff were super friendly and helpful, and breakfast was genuinely really good. We had a very good stay overall.

After hiking more than 34 kilometres on the Camino Vía De La Plata with our big backpacks, we arrived exhausted and were treated like VIPs. Everyone at the hotel and restaurant was so nice and helpful. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and we enjoyed dinner there enough to come back for breakfast the next morning. A big thank you to all the staff at the Hotel Rey Don Sancho 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

The rooms were small and extremely noisy, and the shower didn’t work. The only room available had three single beds, and I felt I had no choice but to take it. They didn’t apply an appropriate rate, which didn’t feel fair.

We had lunch here as a group of 12 and the food was really nice. The staff were attentive and friendly, and the chef even came over to check that everything was okay. The birthday meal was perfect.

A clean, friendly, inexpensive stop on the way to or from Porto. Breakfast was the weak point: no yoghurt, very little choice of bread, and no fresh coffee, just a nearly empty jug that may have been sitting there for hours.
