Hotel ILUNION Romareda

We expected a clean, comfortable stay because we'd been to Ilunion in Bilbao, but these rooms were very old, outdated and dirty. The shower was broken, there was hair in the sink and dirt on the floor. I wouldn't recommend this place. The room was horrible.

A comfortable hotel with a great breakfast. It's convenient for the new football stadium, Miguel Servet hospital, the main park and all my favorite parts of Zaragoza.

We stayed at ILUNION Romareda hotel in July 2023. The free breakfast was fantastic, and public transport is very close, although downtown is a 30-minute walk. The furniture felt very dated. My room had an old monitor as its TV, and the TV in the other room was better, but neither offered a smart TV or channels we could watch. I also didn't think the bathroom was safe for anyone with balance problems or knee or back injuries. The bidet bowl is right where you step into the bathtub, and the hotel should put in a nonslip mat. If I were a senior, I’d be very worried about stepping into that tub, since a fall could have serious consequences.

The rooms are a good size, and the staff were very attentive. The hotel itself was clean and nice, with a big lobby and a bright, spacious breakfast hall. But don't expect a four-star experience: there’s no room service. When we asked for tea in the room, staff told us to get takeaway from the nearest bar. The €8 breakfast buffet could be better, with no fresh juice or hot dishes, and the yogurt I got was spoiled.
