Parking the car was a real challenge. The apartment itself was cozy and well equipped, but during the day the street digging and drilling made it very unpleasant. At least the noise stopped at night.

The place was good once you looked past some issues. Our “Deluxe Apartment with Balcony” looked as if it had been flooded, with water damage to the baseboards. They’d been replaced but not painted, and one bathroom couldn’t be used because of the mold smell. They also ask guests to take out the garbage at checkout.

We were three people staying for a weekend, and the apartment had plenty of space, was nicely set up, and had what we needed for a pleasant stay. The location right in the city center is fantastic. The two serious problems were the noise and the sofa bed. Even with the high quality, brand new windows, street noise was awful when we were trying to sleep. It sounded like people were inside the room. The bed in the living room is really a sofa bed, and it felt like a torture rack. Nobody could sleep on it for more than two hours without a backache. It needs replacing.

The hotel staff did try to help, and they were attentive and understanding, which we appreciated. But our stay was spoiled by how the apartment was managed. We booked because the listing said there was air conditioning. Instead, there was an aerothermal system that didn’t cool the apartment. It was 27°C (81°F) when we arrived, and after maintenance came, it climbed to 28.5°C (82°F). We were traveling with two small children, so the heat was desperate and very uncomfortable for all of us. The woman managing the apartments told us to wait and said maintenance could be sent if needed. Nearly three hours passed, then Zara stopped answering calls and messages. Since she was our only contact, we had to call the hotel ourselves, and they sent maintenance. After an hour, the temperature had risen rather than improved. There was no follow-up or real support from the apartment management, just one person who gives you an access code and some rules, then stops helping when a problem comes up. Some apartments do have air conditioning, but others don’t, and the listings don’t say which is which. That lack of transparency makes me wary of staying here in summer. The location is very good, and the apartment itself is nice and functional. The poor management ruined the experience.
