The beautiful lobby was the only part that felt four star to me. The rooms were clean, functional and seemed renovated, with good lighting. Ours had a terrace, so we could get natural ventilation with the doors open. The hotel is close to the old town and Zaragoza’s residential area. But it’s on a main thoroughfare, and the walls are paper thin. I’m hard of hearing and still heard everything in the adjoining room, including some very private things. Check-in at the front desk was terribly impersonal, and there was no luggage service. We had to wrestle a luggage cart into a tiny elevator, haul our bags and take the cart back down. That might be normal for a three star hotel, but not what I expect from a four star one. The only shower is a handheld head that’s too small for the water pressure. It flew off its bracket and sprayed the bathroom, luckily bouncing off the wall without hitting us. We worked out that we couldn’t turn the faucet all the way on unless we wanted to hold the shower head. Getting into the shower was also awkward because the toilet was too close, leaving barely any room. We made the best of the stay, but spend your money somewhere else. This is the equivalent of a Holiday Inn.

The room was large enough, but the TV was too small and there were no English language channels. The mattress was hard and uncomfortable, and the pillows felt low quality. The rain shower was okay if that’s your thing, and there was no coffee making setup in the room. It’s a pleasant, well placed city hotel, clean and with parking, though the parking was hard to find and expensive. Reception staff were helpful and polite.

For a work trip, I stayed three nights and loved the hotel, even though I didn’t spend much time there. The room was very nice and well equipped, and breakfast was lovely. All the Zaragoza sights were just a minute’s walk away. Zaragoza itself is wonderful too!

A very nice hotel, and you get what you pay for. The air conditioning was noisy and didn’t work properly. We could also hear street noise at night.

The reception area is beautiful, and check-in was easy. Rooms are a great size. The bar and restaurant have a good amount of space, a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Excellent location for nearby attractions and close to all amenities. Highly recommend.
