The basement common room was roomy and practical, with utensils and a microwave. My single room was great for the two nights I stayed, and breakfast was excellent and worth the price. The tortillas were delicious. Miss Rajae at the front desk was especially lovely, always smiling, warm, sweet, and very patient. The only small issue was that the kettle wasn’t very clean when I went to boil water.

We won’t be returning. The room had a filthy bathtub and cobwebs on the ceiling, and our bank details were stolen following a security breach involving reservation information and guest data. Parking space rentals also involved unilateral contract changes. When we tried to explain our dissatisfaction and object to those changes, the receptionist was disrespectful and irresponsible, and wouldn’t let us speak. We completed a complaint form, but the hotel refused to sign or stamp it or enter the information. We’re reporting this to the Consumer Protection Agency and the Data Protection Agency so they can address these and other issues. I’ve attached photos of the bathtub and ceiling.

The reception staff were very friendly, and there’s a communal room where you can refrigerate and microwave your own food. Getting around is convenient: the bus stop across the avenue takes you to the historic center in just a few minutes, there’s a Mercadona close by, and free parking is available behind the hotel and on the surrounding streets, though the streets are in a paid parking zone. We bought the €8 bus pass for 9 trips, which I recommend. We chose an economy room, which was very basic, and reaching it meant carrying our suitcases up and down several staircases between buildings and along various corridors.
