The owners were so kind and helpful, and the house is fantastic. It’s not easy to find a place that accepts pets, either. You’re also within easy reach of both the coast and the mountains, so there’s plenty to explore. I’ve already found where I’ll stay next time I’m in the area.

The stillness in the mountains is something you really have to experience. We’d always wanted to stay in a farmhouse, and now we finally have. The place itself is beautiful and peaceful, and Gabriel and his wife were wonderful. We even caught the deer rutting season, and the weather was fantastic. We loved it and will definitely come back. Highly recommend!

The owner was attentive, and you can ask him if you need anything. The house has three bedrooms, a living room, and a kitchen, and it’s in good shape. There’s a cozy garden and terrace, though the weather didn’t cooperate. One heads-up if you’re coming from Vitoria: Google Maps may send you up a track off the mountain pass. Ignore that and go down to Zeanuri, then come back up from there.

We had the large apartment, which was roomy, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The garden and peaceful surroundings were lovely, and the hosts were very friendly and ready to help with anything.
