Good service at a reasonable price, with all the amenities close by.

This was excellent value. For a very reasonable fee, we got picked up at the airport, and the same driver also served as our guide throughout our four-day stay. Abinet was friendly, prompt and knowledgeable, spoke excellent English, and made the visit memorable by treating us like friends. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, and the owner is a lovely lady who lived in Canada and is often on site. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the place is close to both the airport and everything in the city. Our room matched the website description and photos. It was a large one-bedroom apartment with a kitchenette, mini fridge, two stove burners, counter and a large sink. There are storage cupboards and bedside table cupboards for clothes, plus a patio door and balcony. The room stayed airy and cool. The bathroom had plenty of hot water and thick, soft towels. With food so inexpensive, we didn’t need to cook: a nearby restaurant served a fabulous dinner for two, including soft drinks, taxes and tips, for $10 USD. You can also order from the kitchen and eat in. A fantastic nearby bakery sells four bread rolls and a croissant for just $1 USD. Hot breakfast is included, and dinner and drinks are served in the evening in the main-floor dining room and lounge. There’s an elevator, gated entrance, 24-hour security, free WiFi and Satellite TV. I highly recommend the RoyoKasas!

We stayed at ROYOKASAS Guest house in Addis for two weeks, and my family loved it. The food, room, location, hospitality, and service were all excellent. Roman, who owns Zembaba Restaurant in Toronto, Edmonton, and Fortmac, now has this guest house too. I can’t wait to go back. I don’t have enough words to describe how lovely it was.

It’s a nice place to stay, and the entrance looks like a palace gate. The rooms are well built, with three different light fixtures in each one, and the shower is huge. Torontonians should check it out. Is it owned by Roman, who used to have Zenbaba restaurant by Bloor?
