Base Ethiopia international hotel

Inside, the hotel was very nice, and the staff were pleasant and accommodating. Outside, the whole area was under construction, with sidewalks dug up for drainage work. I wanted to walk around and explore, but didn’t feel safe. The area needs an upgrade.

The interior design really stood out to me, and the team made our three-day stay and meeting go smoothly. They were very accommodating with our requests and even gave us a cake at the end of the meeting. The food was amazing, and their Machiyato may be the best in town. We had a great stay, thanks to the team 🙏

This is a horrible hotel. We came today to wait for a connecting flight, two adults and a child, but were given just two small beds. There were no towels, hot water, shampoo, or soap. When we asked for towels, they brought wet ones and apologized that the dryer hadn’t dried them. Some wall sockets only worked intermittently. The bathroom was dirty, and the corners and shower mat were black and disgusting. Breakfast was bad too: stale cornflakes, hot milk, and no bowls. Ethiopian Airlines had assigned us this hotel.

My experience here wasn’t very good. They only provided soap and hair conditioner, with no shampoo, body wash, toothpaste, or toothbrush in the bathroom. I asked twice, and after an hour and a half they brought only a toothbrush and toothpaste. The towels were in poor condition, and the food selection was very limited.
