The lemongrass juice was a new one for us, and we really enjoyed it along with the other fresh juices and meals. The scenery around the hotel was lovely, and the staff greeted us warmly from the start. The airport shuttle took longer than expected because the driver was trying to get other people to join us, which left us feeling a bit undervalued. The hotel staff made up for the delay without us even complaining. We had a fun, memorable stay and would like to come back, though we also felt like exploring elsewhere instead of staying longer.

I spent three nights at Haile Resort Arba Minch, and the kind, respectful staff made me feel at home throughout. The massage service and beauty salon were a lovely way to unwind after exploring, and the pool was clean, refreshing, and peaceful under the Ethiopian sun. Meals were consistently tasty, with fresh ingredients and a nice mix of local dishes and international favorites, from breakfast through sunset dinner. The resort combines comfort and attentive service with a beautiful setting. It was one of the highlights of my trip through Ethiopia.

The paintings in the rooms, restaurant, and lobby felt out of step with the atmosphere and standard of an international-level hotel. Better choices and higher-quality artwork would improve the interiors. That’s my one suggestion. The staff were friendly and professional, the food was delicious, and the bed was very comfortable. Everything else, from cleanliness to service, was perfect, and I had a wonderful stay. I’d recommend the hotel and hope to visit again.
