Olive Hotel & Spa

I relied on the fast internet all day for work, including Zoom calls with my boss abroad. The hotel is also well placed for walking to historical sites and restaurants, and I thought its own restaurant was top notch. I had a pleasant, clean room and liked the food served there. I’d booked after a friend referred me, and was very pleased with the staff and hospitality. It turned into a great stay, and I thanked my friend for the recommendation.

My kids and I really liked our junior room, especially its clean whirlpool bathtub. The staff were generous with their time and advice, and very helpful. We also enjoyed the restaurant, steam bath, and sauna. The rooms were elegant and very clean, and the location worked well for exploring Bahirdar and the historical landmarks nearby. We had a great time.

We walked to Lake Tana the next morning for a boat trip, since it’s close by. Although there are plenty of restaurants nearby, we enjoyed eating and drinking at Olive Hotel’s own restaurant and bar. The food and drinks met our needs at reasonable prices. I was there on a group tour, booked by our travel agent. I liked the city location and quiet neighborhood, the room size and amenities, and the complimentary massage spa and sauna. The service was good too. It was a great stay, and I’d recommend the hotel.

I had a meeting at the hotel, and the hall was a good size with air conditioning and other useful meeting equipment. I stayed for a couple of days and enjoyed the roomy restaurant, its kitchen setup, and the tasty daily “olive special.” The bars had a variety of drinks as well. It’s a brand new hotel, with spacious rooms, courteous staff, good service, and very clean corridors. I hope to come back soon.
