Adulala Resort & Spa

The food was honestly delicious, but the service left us with a bad impression. My husband and I visited on April 17,2026, and ordered beef tibs and a beef burger. The waitress seemed poorly trained and wasn’t sure what came with each dish. When we asked to take the burger away, another waitress said they had run out of takeaway boxes and put the plate on our table without offering another option or apologizing. We also asked for chocolate cake and were told it was finished in the same manner. We spoke to the manager and asked for a plastic bag. The whole place felt unwelcoming, with poor service.

The location and view were great, and the food was good, but getting anyone to help us was a struggle. We came for a late breakfast and waited far too long for a staff member to notice us. The tables were dirty, and bread crumbs covered the floor. It’s a shame to see such a lovely setting with customer service that feels nonexistent.

The spa was a nice, refreshing part of the visit, and the natural setting made it easy to relax away from the busy city. The grounds are clean and cared for, with comfortable facilities and scenic places to sit. Rooms and amenities were decent, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Food was satisfactory, with a pleasant dining atmosphere. A peaceful spot for a quiet break with friends or family.

The wedding itself was the best, but this resort’s service and hospitality were the worst. More than 15 rooms reserved for wedding guests and family had been given away. Room service wasn’t really an option, and when they brought something to the room they quoted an insane price. I remember they charged 2900ETB for scrambled egg, lol. The food wasn’t even that good. Wouldn’t recommend this place at all.
