I really enjoy visiting Northern Star Hotel in Mekelle. I often use the café, bar, Men's Beauty Salon, Steam and Sauna, and restaurant. The place feels clean, comfortable, and modern, so it works well for relaxing or meeting friends. The café has good coffee and pastries, and the restaurant serves tasty local and international dishes. Their Bueaty Salan is really Special, and the bar has a nice evening atmosphere, friendly service, and reasonable prices. I have a pleasant experience every time.

The bed sheets smelled of sweat, and the bathroom odor was so bad it set off my allergies. It felt like sleeping in a restroom. The shower barely worked, with weak pressure and no hot water. I also found the hotel’s rules strict and unreasonable: outside food wasn’t allowed, and they searched guests’ bags, including women’s purses, which felt invasive. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.
