The buffet food here is really good, and it's a great spot for club gigs right in the middle of Alavus. Thanks to Timo Rautiainen ja Trio Niskalaukaus and Hotel Alavus. PS. I didn't stay at the hotel.

The price was good, and the place was quiet and relaxing. I was a little surprised by the self-serve breakfast at first, but it worked out fine. There was a good range of choices and everything seemed fresh enough. The renovation feels a bit half-finished in places. The old bathroom bowl, ungrounded outlets, and plain shower with its blotchy old silicone stood out against the parts that had been redone. And the stair carpet is pretty gaudy.

I only came for the Spiritus Mortis gig, which was GREAT. Great performance and sound, good mixing, and nice stage lights. I hear the rooms are nice too. There's a nightclub downstairs. The parking right out front is limited, but there's lots of free parking nearby. Lovely staff!

I came for a concert and found parking and check-in easy. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were wonderful, especially Salka, who went out of her way to be kind and accommodating.

We booked at 9pm for that night, and although the booking process sounded scary, it went smoothly. The room was clean and had a big TV. Breakfast was about what you'd expect. It wasn't as good as Onnentähti, but still decent.
