We had such a lovely time here.

We came looking for nature, a fire, and some peace, and this cottage gave us exactly that. The location is great, with something for everyone. As people working in construction ourselves, we really appreciated seeing a project where so much care has gone into every detail. It made for a very successful weekend.

The welcome was excellent, and they took our needs into account throughout. It’s a beautiful cottage close to nature. I’d definitely recommend it.

We only had a short holiday, so we spent our time at the cottage and enjoying the river, swimming, fishing, and taking boat trips. The old dam nearby was a real highlight for the children, who found it exciting. In the evening we also spotted a deer and a barn owl in the field next door, which especially delighted the youngest in our family. The riverside views of the Finnish countryside were lovely from the terrace and even from the sauna benches. Inside, the thick logs gave the cottage a distinctive, somewhat gloomy feel, complemented by the beautiful interior. The beds were comfortable, and everyone slept well. The clean, well-kept property and its surroundings suited the whole family, with plenty to keep people of different ages busy on a longer visit too. It would also work well for a bigger group. The place matched the online photos and description, and then some. We were greeted so warmly, thank you! There are still lots of new things for us to experience next time, and we’ll definitely be back.
