The rooms have enough space, the beds are fairly comfortable, and there’s private parking. But the staff didn’t seem to know the difference between a double bed room and a twin bed room, even though the double bed option costs more. There’s no breakfast, the glasses were dirty, and the bathroom drain worked poorly. No air conditioning either, and you can hear too much between rooms.

The room was clean and the bed, too, and the service was friendly and helpful. Finnish worked well enough, though the English felt unnatural. The interior could use quite a bit of work. Grass had grown thickly over the so-called veranda; I mentioned it, and he quickly trimmed the whole front of the house. The bigger problem was the indoor air. We had to ventilate a lot, and my husband developed symptoms that seemed related to the air quality. We stayed one night, and only later realized breakfast could have been ordered. Some major renovations would be needed to bring customers back. The service was kind, but “Villa” doesn’t really fit the place. If you’re after something extreme, give it a try.
